What a year....
I completed half a century, lost my dad and two good friends, moved house twice, found new friends (some round here) and 2 crazy cats, gave up fan art and discovered photography, lost 2 stone and put them back on, taught and learned, and laughed and cried and swore (often in connection with Newcastle United).
I still have my mum, and the rest of my family, resonably good health and enough money to share a pint with friends and pay the rent (man beachte die Reihenfolge!
). I have 2 new cameras (and not even half a clue how to use them), 3 tripods (but only 2 hands) and a plethora of ideas what I want to do with them next year.
Looking back on the good moments of 2013 and forward to even better ones in 2014 (first of all - NEW SHERLOCK
)
TO each and every one of you
I'm wishing here a happy new
year and a brilliant one,
all full of joy and peace and fun.
So may you celebrate with friends
and only stop when the world ends
(it failed to do so last time round)
or no more drinks are to be found.
I'll see you on the other side
and my excitement I can't hide,
in 30 hours and the odd second
we'll finally have Sherlock back on.
New Year's resolution #1 - work on the rhymes
and now in prose - I wish y'all a very happy, peaceful, creative and healthy new year, the rest will take care of itself.
May the best day of 2013 be worse yet than the worst day of 2014.
And may Newcastle always win
